ADAPT Training for Campus Officers

The purpose of the ADAPT (Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Training) program is to provide law enforcement officers that work on or near school campuses (College, High School, or Middle School) with all of the tools and information necessary to help with the prevention of alcohol and drug abuse among Texas students.


Classes are 8 hours long and are FREE to any officer that wishes to attend or any agency that wants to host a class.  For a list of available classes or to register for a class, you may visit the ADAPT Class Page.

    Officers that are interested in becoming instructors may submit an online application for consideration.

    -Counterfeit Identification  

     -Drug Abuse on College Campuses           

     -Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault             

    -The DWI Stop-Unique Challenges and Enforcement Options for Campus Officers


     Officers who attend and successfully complete the course are eligible for 8 hours of TCOLE credit #6017 (Reducing Impaired Driving Adult/Youth)
