Instructor Bio

Sheldon Banta

Sheldon Banta joined the Lakeway Police Department in January 2010, where he is currently the K9 Handler. Before joining the Lakeway Police Department, officer Banta was a reserve officer for the Mustang Ridge Police Department. In addition to being a K9 Handler, Sheldon is a Field Training Officer and holds an Advanced Peace Officer License from TCOLE.
